Some of our first fix carpentry services and may include:

Studwork

This involves building studwork walls during the framing stages of a building. The walls can be built to:

Separate rooms
Divide large rooms
Form a corridor or hallway
Construct nibs (nib walls)

Studwork walls are constructed perfectly level so that they are ready for the plasterboards to fit in without any issues.

Floating Floors

These are installed floors that don’t need to be nailed or glued to the subfloor. This method is used for many types of floor coverings including:

Laminate Flooring
Luxury Vinyl Flooring (LVF)
Engineered Flooring

Staircases

Our carpenters and Joiners also build and install bespoke timber staircases that compliment the interior of the building. Some of the tasks that are carried out include:

Staircase fitting
Studwork, plasterboard and panelling
Installing newel posts and half newels
Cutting and fixing handrails
Spindle installation

Windows & Window Boards

This task involves framing the windows so that they are ready to be installed on the walls. Window boards (or sills) are also built and fitted during this process.

Exterior Doors

The first impression people get when entering a building is the entrance. Our professional carpenters build and install a variety of exterior doors that creates a fundamental focal point of the property.

Internal Door Linings

Linings are designed to hang internal doors and are fitted once the interior door is installed. The door linings are built perfectly to stop the door flush to the frame.

Noggins

To ensure that the timber structures, floors and walls are strong, we use noggins to provide a strong fixing that will be later fixed to a structure. Noggins (bridging or blocking) can also be used to straighten out wall studs and floor joists if needed.

Mid/Full-height bathroom boxing’s

One of the other first fix tasks that we do include boxing in pipes. Making a pipe boxing helps hide away pipes and other plumbing features in the kitchen or bathroom. This makes the bathroom look immaculate with no ugly pipes sticking out of the walls and ceiling.
